Light-up Tap Slippers

Ideally this is for both two pair of shoes have LEDs on. I only used one pair of shoe for prototype!
Please imagine that both two pair of shoes have LEDs on.

Desciption

palce and hide the Button!

It has to right area to place the button because of "Tapping" part! My project idea is all about tapping the shoes so it changes the colours(see storyboard from old post). The foam helped not to pop out the button which hided quite well.

Hididng Lilypad & Battery

It was quite lucky that my shoe has the right size for hiding Lilypad and battery.
I used thin form layer between subsurface and the black leather fabric which hided wires and button popped out.

place the LEDs

Red & Blue LEDs connected to Lilypad. Two LEDs per pin.

Finding Meterials

I had shoes that has big hole on the hill part. it is great to hide Lilypad and Battery. I wanted use black leather looking fabric for cover the shoes so LED light brighter in dark area.
